WOW! I am completely impressed!! What a fantastic vegetable garden you have. I am totally envious as I have virtually NO room in my yard. I am, however, doing a few veggies in containers. Happy eating, my friend!

VP - I suspected it was the heat that made them bolt. Thanks for the tip about sowing some more now. Will do that this weekend.

Tina - my boys loved the potatoes, they said they were the nicest ones they had had for a long time and I'm sure they werent just being polite!

Your potatoes looks so good! Sorry the fennel is starting to bolt. I bet those potatoes are yummy! I love fried new potatoes. I've not tried them with fennel but will give it a try.

Looks really good, Helen. Harvesting is the best bit, too, apart from eating, of course.

Yum - well done! The key with spuds to keep them well watered once they start flowering. This helps increase the harvest significantly. But when your plot's so small, then the smaller and really expensive stuff like fennel and mange tout is the thing to go for :)

The recent heat's made your fennel bolt. A second soeing now will mean you get fennel up to the first frosts.
