About Me
Welcome to my blog. I am an amateur gardener who is almost fanatical about plants- I live and breath horticulture.
This blog is a record of my endeavours, my inspirations and my successes though sometimes I stray off topic although if you look hard enough there will generally be some link to horticulture somewhere!

How cheery is that on this cold, wet and windy day!
Out of this world Helen
Very pretty.
From Yvonne – Auckland – New Zealand – Yes very pretty – googled and said buttercup family – looks like the one here (although leaves a bit different) that is very invasive, strong roots and paddocks (fields in your language) of them. Seem to like heavy wet soil. Not good for animals. If you hold a flower under someones chin and it reflects yellow they like to eat butter. Is this just a NZ story or does it come from England?
I would be happy indeed Helen if I saw mine blooming….
Already!
A sure sign of spring on the way, perfect.
Small but beatifully formed flower. Their appearance suggests spring is just around the corner.
Very pretty!
Happy Wordless Wednesday!
Lea
Gorgeous aren’t they? Planted dozens of them a few weeks back. No sign yet – gulp.
