About Me
I started this blog in 2008 to record how my garden developed, it quickly became a gardening journal and I have loved it every since. I am passionate about horticultre despite working in higher education administration. However now, 2013, I want to re-engage with my early hobbies of sewing, knitting and crochet so this blog will start to have a wider range of entries that aren't all garden related.
I love reading your comments and I do hope you enjoy the blog.

Mmmmmmm ~ surely not your summer wardrobe unless you have shrunk somewhat drastically! Who/what will be wearing this stylish creation?
Hi Anna – no not my summer wardrone and to be honest not really my look! Its for a soft toy goose I made my mother 20 odd years ago. Its current attire does not match the colours in Mum’s bedroom so I am making a second set of clothes for her birthday – Mums that is not the gooses!
How Cute!
Adorable little party dress! Well done…
Oh I love it..it would be the type of dress I would want to wear as a child….I so admire those that can sew…I am all thumbs!
That is so sweet! I wish I had been sewing that and not another pair of b****y curtains. Only 1 more pair to do for the living room but then two pairs for the bedroom aaargh!!
Hi Arabella – I suspect the dress is more fiddly than your b****y curtains! Loading of gathering to do and its all so small and fiddly
Did not think it was your style but I can imagine it being quite the height of fashion for a toy goose. You must have a lot of patience to create such a garment.
