About Helen Johnstone

I live in Malvern, Worcestershire and am a very keen gardener. I started the Patient Gardener Blog in January 2008 as a way of recording what was happening in my garden and connecting with other like-minded people. I started a second blog PatientGardener 365 January 2013 in order to try and post a photo a day to capture what is growing in my garden or places I have visited

Absolutely gorgeous plant and wonderful picture. I’m not familiar with it so I will go on line and check it out.

How beautiful ! I have lost count of how many did not do well for me.

I bought one of these at the plant fair you came up to. Not looking good at all. Not the plants fault though. When I took it out of it’s pot to plant it, there was hardly any root. Obviously sold before it should have been. Just hope it survives the winter and is as gorgeous as yours next year.

Helen ~ this is one of the BEST photos I’ve seen of the wax bells. I wish mine were still in bloom ~ you’ve inspired me to try harder next year!
p.s. You are anything but a failure even trying to knit! I wouldn’t have a clue so I think you did awesome. :-) I admire how you are always pushing yourself to try new things!
