About Me
I started this blog in 2008 to record how my garden developed, it quickly became a gardening journal and I have loved it every since. I am passionate about horticultre despite working in higher education administration. However now, 2013, I want to re-engage with my early hobbies of sewing, knitting and crochet so this blog will start to have a wider range of entries that aren't all garden related.
I love reading your comments and I do hope you enjoy the blog.

Hi Helen, I don’t know if you’ll agree but If there’s one thing I really enjoy about reading blogs and now starting out with my own, it’s the feeling of being in a community and finding new blogs each day. Blooming Gardening Blogs looks like it will really help with this.
Hi Anna – yes I think Blooming Blog could be good. I have been a member of Blotanical for years but it has got very large now and also doesnt seem to be progressing much. Hopefully this would be more lively and we will meet more people
