About Me
I started this blog in 2008 to record how my garden developed, it quickly became a gardening journal and I have loved it every since. I am passionate about horticultre despite working in higher education administration. However now, 2013, I want to re-engage with my early hobbies of sewing, knitting and crochet so this blog will start to have a wider range of entries that aren't all garden related.
I love reading your comments and I do hope you enjoy the blog.

Very best wishes to you and yours for the year ahead.
Bridget.
A lovely photo. It’s so good to see some flower at this time of year. I walked around the garden yesterday (in the sunshine!) and counted up what was in flower, it wasn’t a huge number but all very welcome.
I see you joined 365. Good luck in keeping up the daily posting. That is a tough thing to remember do each day, but I guess if I took the images from each post to spread them out and scheduled them, maybe it would be doable. Pretty Christmas Rose and so seasonal.
A lovely flower with a very evocative name.
Best wishes for the New Year.
A flower at this time of year! Surprising.
Thanks for joining us on WWB. See you on Wordless Wednesday Bloggers throughout 2013!
Very lovely!
Now I really ‘get’ it why it’s called Chistmas Rose – as in England! Helleores are out here July thru to October. I am running into difficulty with the 365 as only second day and taken about 10 – such a lovely bush enviornment here!
