Are you sure bout the name. It looks much more like a Miscanthus and it seems late for aachnatherum for be flowering. I looked on line and it didn’t look the same. Christina

Despite my best efforts I am sadly lacking fluffy heads in the garden. Non fluffy grasses live – fluffy grasses mysteriously die. I must try harder!

Christina – I raised your query on twitter (along with pic) and many think you are right and it is a Miscanthus. It was labelled differently but maybe the label got moved. I will do a post tomorrow with more photos to see what people think. I bought 3 plants from the plant sales area of this garden which were labelled the same so who knows what I bought!!

my fluffy grass heads are getting snowed on right this minute! I hope we don’t get too much white stuff so that the grass can still be standing instead of laying smushed over.
ps (in reply to your comment about your new allotment) I think you’re energetic to take it on and I’m cheering for you. I am a single mom and I don’t think I could divide my time any further! Sometimes I even think the blog has to go…

Please feel free to leave comments as its always lovely to get feedback. I try to respond to comments as much as possible but sometimes life and work get in the way but I will do my best to respond especially if your comment is a question.
