  1. This is such a bonny little creature. When they first come out, in outdoor light, they are almost parchment coloured. I’m wondering what the seedlings will look like.

  3. Prefer the species – but I tend to be like that – not overly mad on new fangled colours and variegation and the like on plants. Feel the same about blue roses and yellow perlagonioums; why?

    Looks very happy and healthy though, and like Nigel says, it will be interesting to see what colour its progeny are.

  5. The name, BTW, is german and means “sulfur-shine” or “shine of sulfur”! I think, the flower is much prettier than her name!

  6. I have this one, and I even blogged about it! It’s in my parent’s garden, and I might well have missed it flowering this year. I like the subtlety of it, and would be nice to see it growing en masse.
