Lovely! How funny, just yesterday I was stood at the kitchen window looking out onto the garden, thinking of doing a wordless ‘blue’ post too, starting with my new blue Camassia (*snap*!). How funny…

Hi Hillwards – you are more organised than me. I take photos and then pick some out and look for a theme for the heading!!

True blue is quite difficult to find in nature and even when a flower is blue it can be very difficult to capture. Blue is so restful a colour. Christina

  3. I do love these images and the color is perfect…relaxing and peaceful.

Yvonne – NZ – I also have a blue abiconica (spelling??) flowering – also an apricot one and a yellow polyanthus. It is a warm autumn here but they will flower all winter, not just spring!! We have us had two days of warm rain and over 20degrees cel. again. I love NZ Autumn. Usually sunny days, cool nights and NO WIND. If anyone thinking of visiting NZ this is a great time to come. Your blues look so pretty.

  7. The colors are amazing…beautiful…
