A well-written piece, Helen – it sounded very professional!

Great writing!! Today I again visited Eden Garden – the thousands of tulips in full bloom – along with lovely scented magnolias, helebores, vyreas, camelieas and maples showing little peeps of their leaves! They main reason I went there was to buy a Niwashi long handled Japanese sort of pull hoe. I absolutely love my short handled one for weeding or stabbing a hole in the weed mat and clay but my back begged me to buy a long handled one, especially as my land lady, Meesha (my dog) and I are going up to their beach home in Tutukaka for 4 days to enjoy and garden. I haven’t been their yet but think river flat soil (yea not clay) and a lot of cllivias, gardenias etc. I’m taking the nibbles and Cherry the wine! My seedling clivias etc will be watered by my land lord while away! My ‘plataholicism’ is being curbed except can’t resist cuttings and exciting new variety clivia seeds. I would hate to be an alcholic as well!
