I want one! Don’t have a yellow hellebore! Hope you are not too drowned out, although I realize you are more in the hills? Poor people who are flooded!
Beautiful color. I am hopeful my steel-blue ones will bloom this year (I assume they’re steel-blue; that’s what the tag said!). But my white and rose colored ones are beloved as well.
Longtime reader, first time commentator. Absolutely stunning hellebore! Makes me wish we were in Winter looking down the barrel at Spring, rather than at the end of a stinking hot dry Summer (we’e in Tasmania).
Love love love your blog.
Hi Danielle
So nice to hear from you and glad you like the blog. I read a few Southern Hemisphere ones especially in the winter as they cheer me up!
What a strong color, you’re lucky to be near Ashwood! Shipping plants from there to my garden would break the budget, and the seeds aren’t given away either! Still worth it though
Hi Bittster
Ashwood’s sell seeds although they don’t guarantee what colour they will be. Might be worth a go you never know what you will get

I love the yellow Hellebores. This Ashwood one looks a deeper yellow than mine. It is gorgeous.
I think it is deeper than my yellow one too – so pure and simple, she’s lovely!
Wow, the yellow Helleborus!
Now that looks an attractive yellow – could be tempted. Any plans to visit Ashwood this spring Helen?
I’ve only seen yellow hellebores in photos. Would love to have one.
