Lovely area – the gorse reminds me of NZ – but out of control here! Did you know that the seeds can lie dormant in the soil and germinate again in 90 years! Hence a huge problem in NZ! Our ancestors brought in in to make hedges but didn’t count on it taking off the way it did. Now we are trying to eradicate it! Altho’ does make a good shelter when trying to re-establish native plants! Still winter here but 18 degrees and lovely sunny, blue, no wind today!
