    Wonderful,wordless Wednesday

  2. Beautiful. You’ve captured the droplets of moisture on the petals perfectly..which variety is it? I’ve got a half standard of The Fairy that is often still in flower at Christmas.

Great minds (well perhaps not) think alike…. It’s the perfectness of them that I love at this time of year

  4. harvested the last of the roses yesterday. Think there may be a couple more in bud form. Didn’t expect them to still be going.

I’ve just seen your gardening blog and am enjoying it – beautifully presented, and a beautiful garden. And all the writing and photography (and now embroidery?) and a full time job – you are a busy person! I wondered how big the garden is?

  7. It is so wonderful to see we still have blooming roses in some parts of the country.

  8. There is nothing more beautiful than an Engllsh rose, Helen. Yours is stunning. It’s beauty is especially welcome as MY garden is engulfed in an Arctic vortex. P. x
