Sheep embroidery finished

Nellie Makes

I have finished the embroidery of the sheep pincushion and I am rather pleased with it. Next up is to trim the fabric and make it into a pin cushion but I need to take a deep breath before I do that.

  1. Helen I love the different stitches showing the different sheep. It has been a long time since I did any needlework.

      Hi Donna
it’s a kit and I bought it so I could learn new stitches. I really enjoyed the drizzle stitch, which is the most curly looking sheep. But I’m not so keen on the couching approach the thin/flat looking sheep

I haven’t embroidered in a long time, but those sheep look like they required fun stitches.

      Hi CW
it was fun to do although the drizzle stitch which is like a very long French knot took some practice
