  2. A fabulous foliage plant. I grow this here in Berkshire, UK, but the top growth usually succumbs to the winter weather. However, last year was incredibly mild and it survived, so my melianthus flowered for the first time in its 15 year life – 29 blooms!

      29 blooms how amazing, I bet it looked stunning. I think my plant is 4 years old and this is the first time it has produced a flower, I was very excited to spot it at the weekend and cant wait for it to open further
