Lovely colours – patience needed! Clear blue skies after all those huge clouds, hail etc. That’s spring!

I agree, very pretty. You must have exceptionally good eye-sight to do such fine and detailed work. Made my eyes water just looking at it – these days can’t even get thread to go through the eye of a VERY BIG needle.

  4. Well done, many different textures and styles of beading. Are you pleased with it?

    1. Helen Johnstone says:

      Hi Rachel
I am – I can see how I have improved since the first motif on this piece of work. Using a free standing frame has made a big difference. I think I could have improved on the trellis work on the petals as it is uneven and the beading all over the place. The next notify has more of this so I will have to try harder to get the finish better

    2. Becoming more practised helps, and now you have a frame so you don’t have to hold it, you will find many things easier.
Although in my experience – not quite all!

      Hi Tanya
thats because there are many beads, which are fiddly but I am getting better at handling them
