Quite dramatic, and I love the purple stems.

  2. Anna says:

That’s a most striking specimen Helen but I’m wondering if it’s anthriscus ‘Ravenswing’. The foliage of the latter is deliciously dark and the flowers are airier than the one in your photo and are not as staturesque. They usually flower in May.These umbellifers can be quite confusing at times 🙂

      Hi Anna
I did doubt I had it right, will change title

  3. Fascinating shape, aren’t they – very striking. And that’s even before you notice the purple stems!

  4. Cathy says:

Lovely purple stems, whatever they turn out to be!

  5. I think there is a really strong connection between higher education and the joy of digging in the dirt.

  6. Linda from Each little World says:

One of the flower types that is sorely lacking in my garden. Love the contrast of the dark stems and pale flowers.

  7. Brian Skeys says:

Great photo and ‘Cover all’ title!
