      Hi Kate
I don’t know who originated the wordless Wednesday meme it’s been around for years and years. I never link anywhere and I have never seen any links anywhere else. So join in
      Helen

  4. Noelle says:

Like Brian I love the markings, its as if you have taken your palette of paints and ‘improved’ on an already perfect form of crocus.

  5. Anna says:

What intricate markings on such a small flower Helen. A real work of art.

  6. There’s an encouraging sight!

  7. Cathy says:

Nature has been at it again…gorgeous! There used to be a meme, possibly two, but the person hosting changed and it became a bit of a faff so like most of us I just post my own WW

  8. Those are so beautiful. Are they new? Will you put them in the ground?

    1. Helen Johnstone says:

      Hi Dorris
They are new, I bought the corms at the end of last year. They will stay in a pot as I can give them the drainage they need which they won’t get in my clay soil.

    2. Ah ha. I wondered about just that as I am on heavy clay. Gorgeous. You must be delighted
